A Haven for Imagination
Devrent Valley, often referred to as Imaginary Valley or even Pink Valley because of its rose and blush colored rock formations, does not have cave churches like the other valleys of Cappadocia. However, it does certainly possess an expanse abundant in peculiar fairy chimneys. These formations, unique to Devrent and spread throughout the rugged terrain, kindle the imagination with their likenesses to animals, mythical creatures, and even human forms. The most famous among them is the Camel Stone. The valley is akin to an open-air sculpture museum, tracing nature's artistry over millions of years!
More than just Sightseeing
Devrent Valley’s one-of-a-kind scenery which it owes to wind and water erosion is not its only appeal. As soon as you begin wandering through its track, you will feel a definite shift in energy – a soothing kind that encourages a meditative experience. The energy, coupled with the thrilling game of recognition of shapes and symbols out of the natural formations, gives an otherworldly air to the valley. Some say the power of the place enhances the power of visualization and manifestation. Who knows, it might just work wonders for you?
